About Us
Ancient Alchemy
We utilize the ancient art of lost wax casting to create our jewelry. All jewelry is cast in our Joshua Tree studio by owner Jessica. This is both a highly technical & alchemical process in which molten metal is turned into solid jewelry. Learn more in the video below.

Dea Dia jewelry is designed & produced in house by owner and self-taught jewelry artist Jessica Lawson. Utilizing hands-on methods such as wax carving, metalsmithing, and casting, each piece of jewelry is handcrafted with heart and soul.
Ethical & Sustainable
We create our jewelry on a made to order basis to reduce waste and exclusively use post-consumer recycled metals in our designs. Orders take 2-4 weeks to ship. We plant two trees for every order and all shipping materials are recyclable or reusable.
This is a beautiful ring but it’s clearly not good quality as it turned my finger green. Don’t waste your money.

We're sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your purchase from Dea Dia. Brass is composed of 75% copper and 25% zinc. The copper in the brass can react with some people's skin pH and leave a green or black discoloration. This reaction is harmless and can be washed off. We find that a lot of people who continue wearing brass have this experience lessen with wear or only leave light discoloration after humidity or sweating. We always encourage people to continue wearing brass and it often becomes one of their favorite metals because it provides a great value compared to solid gold while still looking close to the color.

Quality ring. I am pleased.
I like how low profile and lightweight this ring is, and it also fits perfectly, but the shape was more uneven than it appears in the pictures and it creates a look where the ring looks slanted on my finger. I still really like it, so I’m rolling with it.

Nice ring, ordered a size 8. I measured my middle finger with a ring size gauge. Too large by at least 1/4” or bit more. They only exchange or agive store credit, small business. Exchanged ( quick turnaround!) for size 7, too small, can’t fit over my knuckle. Maybe a size 6?! :/

My Ingot ring is just as lovely as I expected it to be. It looks great on my hand and it feels substantial but not overly heavy. It does fit a bit large, as the description says, so I’m wearing it on a different finger than I had planned to. (Which just means I’ll need to buy another ring.)

The Ingot Ring came immediately and I'm so pleased with everything about it. I wear it every day. I am a jewelry artist, myself, and it is not only as smooth and comfortable as it looks on the website, it fits well, too. I do wish it came in half sizes, though.It looks great with all of my own jewelry designs. I have gotten many compliments on this ring!

Do not worry about this being brass…it is beautiful and tactile as well as it is one piece of metal. Don’t know why but it matters. Looks just fine with my gold rings.
