Salt & Pepper Diamond Three Stone Engagement Ring in Solid 14k Gold

A rose cut white diamond between two icy salt and pepper rose cuts, set in a hand carved 14k gold band.

Salt and pepper diamonds carry their inclusions openly, black and white flecks suspended through the stone rather than cut away. Rose cutting suits them, since the flat back and faceted dome let light move through the inclusions instead of bouncing off a pavilion. The center stone here is nearly white with only slight pepper, and the two sides are fully icy, so the row reads clear at the middle and clouded at the edges. An alternative engagement ring, or a gift to self.

Hand carved in wax, cast in recycled 14k gold and set in our Joshua Tree studio. The center stone is bezel set with engraved lines worked into the bezel, and the side stones are bead set.
